Key Personnel – Michael Bullard

Prior to founding Accuvista, Michael Bullard was managing director of Trade Service Information Ltd. As such, he worked closely with other publishers, software providers and e-commerce companies. He has also worked with customers of all sizes, from local contractors through to national and multinational distributors. This wide experience has enabled him to understand both the strategic and practical issues facing buyers and suppliers.

Michael has spent over 20 years in the publishing industry, developing printed and electronic product databases to meet customers’ specific needs. He has held board level positions for over 15 years, including 10 as managing director, during which time ISO 9000 quality systems were introduced to TSI. Key market sectors included the building services industry, the video and music industries, and the developing e content sector.

Through working closely with customers, Michael also gained extensive knowledge of the supply chain processes used in the building services industry. Whilst at TSI, he was responsible for the development of information services that became the de facto standard for product information in the building services industry. He has served on various industry committees formed to help the development and promotion of standards for e-business, as well as speaking at various industry conferences. He was formerly chairman of the electrical industry’s Electronic Trading Group.
